Doing a bit less.

Post by jansman »

I've made me mind up. Next year I am growing less ( variety) in the garden. Why? Well this year has been good, but is it appreciated? No. Instead of wandering up the garden as I encourage, SWMBO just goes over to the co op! Granted there's only the two of us most of the time, so I shall grow what I know will get used with minimum effort from me. So;

Leeks, onions , spuds ( earliest and lates), runner beans, sweet corn, spaghetti marrows, salad and tomatoes.

Done! And that should leave me more fishing time. :D
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Mine does that too. I was digging spuds, she was buying them! Can't win.

So will also focus on growing more of fewer varieties next year.

Well, I'm the grower and the cook but I too don't grow a lot of variety. I grow what we like and what preserves well.
