Welcome to the forum. I've never been convinced of the "Live like it's already ended" way because what if it never does? So your way of life sounds very interesting to a UK dweller living in a detached house with all home comforts! I look forward to hearing more from you.

That's a tad rude. I would see her lifestyle as one of self-reliance, rather than 'living like its already ended'...

Apologies for my misunderstanding, I thought you were already completely off-grid and living a bugged-out lifestyle :oops: . You are right of course about learning the needed skills before the SHTF.
