Greetings from Bedford

Post by Tinribs75 »

Hi all, my name's Tim. I'm 40 and I've just recently moved from South London to Bedford with my wife.

I've had survival kits of sorts since I was allowed to own a penknife when I was about 9. I remember getting a book on survival from the library (Brian Hildreth's How to Survive) and was hooked!

Now I have a cupboard full of camping gadgets and survival gear in my garage and I carry a small pack of essentials with me every day.

I always believe that if something can happen to you once, it can happen again. So having been stuck in traffic jams for hours with my daughter, been caught in hailstorms while camping right down to minor wardrobe malfunctions at work (darn buttons!), I've got it covered!

Be good to know of any other prepper types in the Beds / Herts area.........
