we all know about vac sealing in mylar , but how about in the original packaging in space bags , you know kind you suck down with the hoover .
we use them for bedding ad clothes but got to thinking about pasta and rice in them and then in to a dark container to keep the light out .

I can't see why it wouldn't work, not sure if it'll make a lot of difference to the use by date.

i was thinking mylar effect but on a larger scale . i know you get big mylar bags but that would need a big tub to keep it in , i was thinking bags and inside my bed [ sliding doors on it ] .
