I can definitely recommend the Kingston Data Traveler Vault Privacy. It is aluminium and feels really solid (actually you will be surprised how heavy it is compared to other drives.), waterproof rating of IPX-8 continual submersion in water up to 4ft and 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption with FIPS 197 validation plus it is USB 3.0. Hardware encrypted drives are more expensive but are certified so no worries of third party encryption software being hacked.
