a bottle of water, and a foil blanket,
first aid items
flashlight
a small multi tool
trail mix.
thats about it in my world.

Now i'm not the kind that'll bow down or stay indoors because of some moron who wants to kill a load of people.

Re-evaluating the terrorist shooting in Paris, i now include a proper First Field Dressing on me at all times - If i get shot, i get shot, but i at least want to stop the bleading.

I also now carry some swimming goggles and an FFP3 facemask in case of smoke/dust contamination (enabling me to get away from the threat zone) - A lot of people in 9/11 who breathed in that dust had lung problems years later.

Back to the mentality of the IRA era for me.

I carry a radar key, mainly because it handy when you need to toilet but also they make a good hiding place in built up areas like town centre and especially shopping centres.

these give better vision than swimming goggles, are sealed all around from dust, wont be as bulky, and wont look as wierd when youre walking round the streets with them on (but, if its a case where its needed, then you wouldnt really GaF what you looked like)

The only change I'm thinking of making is carrying a couple more Israeli bandages.

First aid kit.
Foil blanket.
Swiss Army Knife.
Water.
Tactical pen (for breaking glass in the event of an accident).

All legal but never underestimate the ability of the cops to prey on joe public's ignorance of the law. The reason so many know your rights type cards etc are given out at protests is because what the police tell you is illegal isn't necessarily always so.
