I never leave the house or, in fact, my bed without a flashlight (Fenix PD32 2016), 2 spare batteries (EagTac 18650 3500mAh), Multitool (Boker Plus TechTool 3), Generic screwdriver bit driver (Silverline maybe?) and accompanying high quality screwdriver hex bits, Scissors (Leatherman Micra multitool), Generic pair of really small fold-up pliers, Mini Pry-bar (Gerber Shard), Credit card sized Diamond sharpening stone, Spare phone battery, Tungsten carbide jigsaw blade (in case metal/plastics need to be cut through for some reason), First aid including plasters, dressings, tape, alcohol free wound wipes, handwipes, some butterfly stitches, burn gel. Oh and one or two modified Smith & Wesson handcuff keys that are modified according to the TOOOL (The Open Organisation Of Lockpickers) standards as best as I can get them, so that they can open as many standard handcuffs and high security models as possible! Because, why not? (Just if you have a cuff key(s) don't attempt to use them if actual genuine police handcuff you else you will be in a world of trouble, whether you are innocent of what you are accused of or not.
That's just what I have on my belt, in my pockets and cargo pockets.
I do have an extended EDC that I take to work with me, but rather than type a whole other long thing out, I think I will just share the video I made a while back: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1mM24PxnVI
There are other videos of other EDC items, including some that I carry on me. In fact I think most of the things I mentioned that I carry on me will have videos on somewhere on that channel.
EDC 4eva!
Those who's EDC consist of a phone, wallet and keys with condemnation for people who carry more thing than this, need a reality check. My EDC comes in handy frequently throughout the week. Both at home and work.

Re: My EDC
Nice vid bud. Like your kit. Thinking of going for the Rush 12 on my next visit to the States next year (would only be £50 on Amazon) - seems a more EDC friendly size.
I love motorcycles like a fat guy loves cake. I also love cake.
Re: My EDC
Thanks. I just wanted to have something I could fit quite a bit in. So it works for me.

Re: My EDC
Good video. I'm a bit of an EDC geek myself and carry a similar sized GHB - MOAB 10 - and I compartmentalise like you have with several pouches that I can swap in and out, depending where I'm going or what I'm doing. I must get a bladder for it, I'm using a 500ml aluminium flask with mini sawyer in case I need to top up and I'm not near clean water. That keeps the weight down quite a bit.
You mentioned size and weight in another post, I find there's a lot you can fit in a small tin but be warned, this can get addictive.
I noticed in another thread that Deeps was putting together an Altoid tin paragliding kit, but with all due respect, he's a dreamer. I've managed to fold the material into the tin but unless he's cheating, the frame won't fit.

Re: My EDC
Very nice, EDC's are a very personal thing. Mine is very limited nowadays, as I've worked out what is reliant and what is just a waste of weight.

You're not trying hard enough mate, either that or I might have lied, one of the two.Briggs 2.0 wrote:Good video. Re: My EDC
Just watched your linked vid Mort, some interesting stuff, my preference would be to have all the medical stuff in the one place, easier to find especially if you have to give someone directions because its you that's needing the help. Thanks for posting it.
Re: My EDC
In my backpack it mostly is but I have space limits on what I can fit where. Since the video I have consolidated a bit more by putting the medical stuff in a silver gusset pouch so that I can pack more vertically and protect things from water ingress.Deeps wrote:Just watched your linked vid Mort, some interesting stuff, my preference would be to have all the medical stuff in the one place, easier to find especially if you have to give someone directions because its you that's needing the help.
