I've just watched this on 4OD.

£108,000 yearly income. £108,000! If I had that much money I wouldn't know what to do with it. I'm not surprised the planet is in the state it's in if that's how much waste people chuck out. My flabber is well and truly gasted!

I will watch next week's, though - some of the tips might be worth picking up. I'm not going to be making a bathing costume out of old rags though

They're just stupid, vapid, plastic people BP. Sad lives underneath, so they have to spend money to try and be happy.

I make about a tenth. I did my budget last night and worked out that I spend £10,800/annum - that includes rent and council tax and contains a budget for taking animals to the vet. I am just about to become unemployed so hoping no critter has a crisis! I will start work again in October, all being well, but things are going to be really tight this summer. Luckily I have some food stocks and am OK in the toiletries and cleaning stuff department. Very, very glad I don't have any debts! I don't know how that family could earn so much and yet be in debt.

If I don't find temporary work over the summer, I plan to utilise the time by knocking my allotment into shape and making cards and presents for birthdays and Christmas.

Arrggh - vets bills are a nightmare Smiley, I can empathise totally. It costs me £50.00 a month for my cat as the insurance won't cover it.

We lived on around £7000 last year in total, trying to get it lower but with prices rising it's not happening. (saving hard for a car.)
