I just joined the site after an hour or so of browsing through some of the posts. I'm from the north east of England and always used to think "prepping" was something only done in America! Great to have found a UK forum. I've found myself gravitating towards this a lot more recently; reading online articles, watching videos and browsing book titles. I'm very new to this but increasingly anxious of just how unprepared I am for even the slightest break from the norm, a lengthy powercut for example! (my flat is all electric powered!). Anyway, I'm looking forward to reading more, getting my prepping underway and sharing anything I come across Shadowstep.
