Made this one ages ago, cost next to nothing. Just put a baffle plate inside,so hopefully minimum sparks.
I like stuff that has more than one use. Next bit of this project is a length of copper pipe coiled round the bottom bit of the flue to act as a water heater.
I'm in the process of building one out of a small Calor gas bottle, I just got to wondering how big do I need to make the chimney? currently I made a hole big enough to take a short length of scaffold pole, (I use what I can find / scavenge) do let me know if you this needs a lager diameter, cheers "H"
Im just hoping for the best and preparing for the worse.
A small stove (like those little pot-bellys they put in narrowboats ) needs a four inch flue so I'd of thought starting there and getting bigger as the stove increases in size.
What size bottle you using ?

errrrmmmm its sized as a 10kg so not massive, a quick google has the outer Dia of the scaffold pole 48.3mm O/D x 4mm wall this will be a short section with a length of ally platform post that slots over it....... or so I planned things !?!??!??!

About a foot across and two feet tall ?
Probably going to need a bigger flue then a scaff. pipe...... Suck it and see, but I think you might be a bit short on draw.
