Thought it was about time I introduced myself. I am 43 an electrician, self builder I have been building my own house for the last 5 years, also I was a reservist for 9 years
I have been prepping small scale for about 4 years, that's helped with all the panic buying in the shops as I had some things stored. Started prepping when I lost my job, and I do not want to go through the problems of no money coming in again.

Re: Oxfordshire prepper
Welcome to the forum.
Pretty much the same reason I started prepping, I was once so broke that I had to give the cat my dinner and go hungry, I'm pretty comfortable now but I'll never forget that and I don't plan to go through it again if I don't have to, especially since I now have four cats and there wouldn't be enough to go round!

That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die.
