I've just added some more butane canisters for the little bistro stove. Hopefully they will be used when camping this summer and not for power cuts but in this crazy world who knows . .

Yes, I am going to keep my car topped up and I will also fill my 2x5 litre petrol cans - last time there was a wiff of trouble at t pumps - we all know what happened last time. I won't take much for folk to start panic buying fuel again.

On the way back from fishing was a fallen tree. I carry a saw ,so I just had to stop and fill the space around my gear with firewood - I can’t help meself! Yesterday I picked up more paraffin too. I use it for greenhouse heating and frost protection for the outside toilet.I am making sure that batteries are charged,and there is enough feed for cats,dogs rabbits,hens and aviary birds.
