A miniature 200 lumen 3hr run time emergency bulkhead light with the option to switch it on and off like a standard light / have it on all the time or just on in the event of power failure
Similar in size to the old 60w bulb bulkhead lights people used to have by their front door / over the back door . But much Slimer about 30/40 mm deep
Bit more compact than the industry standard ones and look a bit less industrial
The cover is held on by 2 Philips screws ..
Then the gear tray which holds the LEDs and battery pack is unclipped in the 4 corners with a flat driver .. isolate fully before removing the covers as the PCB carries 240v...
It's got 3x cable knockouts I used a 20mm cts gland to hold the cable (it comes with a rubber grommet)
The wiring is connected according to the instructions obviously if in any doubt get a electrician in to do it..
As above it comes set up to be always on (maintained). But if you remove the wire link you can then wire it as emergency only (illumination if mains supply to the lamp is lost) OR emergency and switched mains light ...
Mines currently on a 13a plug with a 3a fuse fitted .. but if the rotating cuts happen it's getting wired in the emergency method linked to the kitchen light supply using the knockout on the end of the kitchen light fitting and suspended by a 20mm coupler..
Be ideal in the cupboard that houses the zombie stores with 3 hours to dig out the torches , or at the top of the stairs. Last thing you want is a tumble when there is no power when it suddenly goes off
