Did anyone else see the documentary showing how Cubans coped when most had no access to the internet? There was a thriving trade in USB memory sticks which were updated by those who had net access or were generating their own content - news music, games, films, books and these were then rented out door to door to spread information. They were very popular.

When I was living on Cyprus back in the 80s if a film came out in Hollywood on Friday you'd be able to buy a dodgy copy within a few days in your local corner shop. 'Cam' copies the quality was often very poor but the audio cassettes were fine quality.
