biggest issue Is people who don't understand domestic electric supply dabbling to get things working but potentially frying a poor linesman trying to fix the fault that caused the blackout..

CPC =Circuit Protective Conductor
Dno =Distribution Network Operators ( eg northern power grid)
Header = sparky short for service head (where the cable enters your house via their fuse before the meter )

I've worked as a sparkys mate in the past and have 3 electricians in the family which comes in handy and a good mate who now overseeing electrical apprenticeships when things need doing I've a list of phone numbers
