Eventually done it house valued estate agents instructed photographer coming next week and putting on market
Hopefully will sell ..
Looking at the wood that needed chopping for the winter
The coal that needed to be brought in ..the large garden where the massive tree in garden behind me will drop most of its leaves... and the backbreaking job of sweeping them all up ...makes me cringe now
Fortunately the ..hidden in plain sight
..preps wont be seen when prospective viewings happen but I will have to whittle them down as I seem to have been a "full on" prep for every eventuality person.. mainly Yorkshire Andys fault with the amount of torches
If it sells i will really miss the wood burner but not the work
Still preparing it for winter in case I'm still here but i aren't getting any younger and the thought of a smaller place with easier management is the thing that gets me through it
Tied down everything in garden with the high winds we have
Sat with coffee now ( prepped and bought in bulk of course )
Don't blame me for torches . I mean don't ever look at this website
Yorkshire Andy my birthday begining sept
I get torches
Led battery wind up ones with radios solar
They all know GG has a "torch thing "
Yeah the new kitchen boiler flooring ceilings and carpets ...
I'll end up in therapy haha

Lack of planning on your part doesn't make it an emergency on mine
GG you're doing the right thing xx. Finally surfaced here after 2 weeks without internet. Really hard to manage life without it now. I was going to bed at 9pm because I was so bored Even some nice light fluffy little old lady reading material - (ok, so mainly supernatural demons)- was not helping. Flat is quiet, warm and calm. And we don't have St Trinians next door now.

Now to start prepping for flat life ..
No more humping coal... No more LPG bottles ..
No doubt you've emergency lights in all communal areas which will run for about 3 hours if there's a power cut
Just your flat to prep for

I've never lived within reach of shops, cafes and chip shops for 40 years -so I'm busy sorting out a layer of fat for possible famine.
Deep fried mars bar for supper then

Am in the midst of a store room relocation so that we can finally fit the upstairs bathroom where once it was. I have actually dusted off all my tinned goods and everything is looking very tidy and organised. Impressed that I have not had to throw anything away apart from 3 boxes of cereal which had fallen down the back of the shelves, but wondering about the cheese powder which is probably about 2 years out of date. I had my grandchildren last week, the eldest went wandering and having a nosey in the utility room where I have my toiletries and cleaning products in sets of plastic drawers (because she followed the cat in) and asked why I keep so much when I could just go to the shops when I run out. I simply explained that I really dont like shopping so much which she accepted. I did have a bit of a giggle though when a colleague told me about visiting her grandparents, the kettle broke as she was using it and her Gran told her to go upstairs and get another from the stores, where she also found a spare toaster, microwave, about 100 toilet rolls and lots of tins of Heinz products and wondered why anyone would keep so much stuff.
