Just in time for me to have a play with it this weekend in the woods. :D

Here's a mark 1 version in action:

Hmmm... ~I kinda like them but cant help feeling that they are a little bit of a gimmick? What do they have that an average SAK or leatherman doesnt have; these are tools I would always have with an EDC.

So, latest preps..

- planted more potatoes out back alongside turnip.
- started to have a mass clear out, an 'autumn clean' of paperwork, books and items I've hoarded!
- tried to implement a bit of order with all the leads that tend to find their way into backs of cupboards
by labelling what each one is for!
- stocked up a bit more on cans and dry goods in the food dept.
- stocked up on another first aid kit and trauma kit.
- looked more seriously at my current EDC with the view of slimming it down ever so slightly!
- started to seriously make my molle vest from the bottom up for rescue work.

And now that I find myself unemployed; realistically look at taking on any work available and put ambitions on the back burner, again!!

I think your info is a bit misleading,TiRO. It's the preservative, Thimerosal in the flu vaccine contains less than 1 microgram of Mercury. To put it into perspective, if you have Dental Amalgam fillings, your daily exposure to Mercury is up to 25 times greater.

Took the last of the tinned food from the attic and added it to the prep shed. Bought 11 Space Blankets at 40% off at the range and started to get them stapled onto the insides of the Rafters ready for the big freeze.

How effective do you reckon this'll be? I need to be starting to insulate my allotment shed (as a BOL) and was thinking polystyrene and chipboard?
