Loads of relevant books, all downloadable. Just have to do a keyword search to find the interesting stuff. Try "bushcraft","Survival", "first aid", you get the drift.

Any favorites? I found a nice branching morse decoder pdf online, don't want to share links as I'm new and I think people get suspicious about it. And also a free knot tying book online, it was in a very long page format though.

Happy to share links directly if thats allowed / you need them.

To many to list, to be honest. What i'm trying to do is build up an offline library of information that I can refer to in an emergency. I also made a thread somewhere about kiwix, which is worth a look. This allows you to create your own copy of wikipedia along with its content on your own hardware.

Another hit. Audels Guides. These are all pre 1950s guide books for engineers etc. This is the Carpenters one

Decided i'm definitely going to put in some effort to get my offline library sorted, along with some type of index. Then at the very least skim read the content and junk the junk.

When I can I prefer books or paper copies of downloads to digital records but it’s not always possible.

I guess I’m a DINOSAUR but maybe not the only one here......

I would always prefer a real book to a digital version - have always found it difficult to process information from ebooks etc. However, if it's a case of some form of book or no book,... I'm slowly building up a reference library, and all the texts are public domain so no cost.

I have a lot of digital information, in several formats, but I couldn't have all of that information in physical books - I'd need at least another room

Kindle are not supporting pre 2012 Kindles so make sure you don't rely on web access for your books.

I love books, paper, ebook, PDF et al and now have more ebooks than I could read in the rest of my lifetime but of course some of them may be of use to others when I'm not around anymore; its worth acquiring books not just for you but for others as well.
