I need to fix my little plastic greenhouse, one leggings is snapped. My salad plants didn’t do well last year.
Car serviced and a suspension strut replaced. Dentist booked and medical appointments for my brother. Pantry and fridge full. Batch of ginger beer on the go. House cleaned, laundry done. Car fuelled up.

After cleaning the patio, I’ve just found the paving sand I have for the spaces is blown so that’s another trip to Dobbies at the weekend.

Then when moving my chiminea, a load of bees flew out so I have been burning the wood off but I now need a further cover for it as the old one is full of holes. Mrs Kiwi also hates me burning anything in it.

Then I decided to wash my Sunday golf bag which I can do in the washing machine except I forgot to empty the bag and around 30 balls just had a wash. My neighbour came in to ask what the racket was, she thought I was hitting pots and pans together.

Luckily Mrs Kiwi isn’t home from work yet, should would hang me from the yardarm for musket practice!

I’m okay, she already has my danglies in her purse…

It just seems like one task ends and five take their place.

State pension goes up this month, about £40. They sent me a letter saying what that would be.
Tax got taken off my two company pensions for the first time. It was as expected, 20% off each.
This is because if you are on close to the maximum state pension, what you get now is close to the personal tax allowance.

Added to my 1/2 Sovereigns stash.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Same here private pension being robbed (every penny earned by hard graft) cancels out state pension increase.

Well, had plenty of plans.. Then my old acquaintance Mr Arthritis McFlare decided to drop in overnight. Probably decided to drop in having not been invited to all the gardening and walking i've been doing recently. Am hoping that following a hearty breakfast of Ibuprofen and Steroids he'll bugger off instead of staying for the long weekend...

Good luck with that, Gerald.

I put in a big order to B&Q last weekend, and it slowly arrived this week, in *three* different deliveries, plus one that was delayed so badly they said they'd deliver it another day. That was today - it turned up 4 hours before they told me, and shrugged when I said their email said they required a signature. Nope. I mean, I'm quite glad, but I wish I'd known that!

While waiting around, I cleaned out the fridge  god, it was horrible  but at least I can store some of the extra food preps I've bought - mad stuff like 500g turmeric, 2kg dried fruit, yet more toilet rolls, classy stuff 8-)

ETA - woah, just seen Y/Andy's post. Poor you! I've been standing up and sitting down today as an exercise, while watching for the dratted deliveries, I'd better watch that stuff like that doesn't happen. Hope it heals soon.
