Been into prepping for a while now but on the sly as my wife hated it.
But since the divorce have got my head right into it!
Loving being outdoors and foraging/hunting (blackberries a favourite, but don't have too many TRUST ME)
Finding it hard to find like-minded people in my area (Northumberland) so thought I'd join up!

Welcome, good people here with good ideas.
I’ve not been a member here that long but am a long time prepper. I started in the 70s but did not
know it, bringing up a young family during the cold war, prepping as such had not been “invented”.
It just seemed to be common sense.
Buying a little extra food each week building up a good pantry, with young kids a good first aid kit and
cough and cold meds, you know what i mean.
Torches, candles, hurricane lamps, Valor paraffin heater for emergencies, camping gear for holidays,
it all made a difference when things were difficult, work, money etc.
So Welcome, keep prepping, take care and keep safe.
