It's Deja Vu all over again

Post by ClericalError »

Hello everyone

I joined a long time ago but have barely even lurked during the last few years. I am introducing myself again because
1) I could do with some quiet accountability - if I post saying I am going to sort out an area of prepping, perhaps I'll actually do it
2) On the basis that if you can't be a good example, you can at least be A Horrible Warning To Others, perhaps my weirdness may afford some amusement here and there.

I've been very ill physically and under pressure mentally for those lurking years, and now I seem to be turning things around at last.

During the downtime, I became very fed up with people and their behaviours and started adopting furry animals instead, (non-edible), so the household structure has changed somewhat.

I have a weird job which does not prepare one for prepping life, shall we say. By the standards of the profession, I am practical, which tells you something about the rest of them. I'm an excellent cook (and so pleasingly modest with it), good at organising and planning, was learning to garden but now have to cut down brambles to find it (think Sleeping Beauty's Castle), can't drive because eyesight, and want to get outdoors and regain some health and fitness.

So my first prepping mini-adventure is going to be Water, Water Everywhere.

All the best!
