Hi! Me and my friends started to prepare this year as a pre-caution, just buying the standard basic equipment, little food and littler water. We intend to live of the land, we are both military trained. Good perhaps talk to other people in west midlands area on tactics and ideas, team work is essential.

Hello Ryan, welcome to the site. You say you plan to live off the land. If you don't mind me asking how much land do you have and how many are you planning to feed?
Many of us here are still learning about how much space is needed to be semi self sufficient in food so its interesting to hear another point of view.

Hello, I'm still researching ideal locations but I would say a couple of acres. You don't want to go to big because it needs to small enough that you can protect it from bandits. Me and my friend are currently the only ones doing it at the moment but I plan to aquire more maybe a group of 8+. I'm lucky to live in rural Stoke which has a lot of countryside/farms. You need seeds, and lots of them. But don't forget nature provides as well, you can fond edible resources all over the place, I advise you to buy a wild edible foods book, this will help alot.
