Hi from West Midlands

Post by ratcatcher »

Just wanted to say hello to everyone and quickly introduce myself. l live in Coventry and started to get interested in prepping when the bird flu scare came about. Being ex HM Forces, I am quite used to living in 'basic' conditions but I really believe that many people just could not survive if things were taken away that we take for granted ie water and electricity. Thanks to those who have posted some interesting articles, especially about winter driving. I hope to offer some tips of my own in the future, but one I have now is that the supermarkets are good places to stock up on basics when they have their promotions on. Things like beans and water can be incredibly cheap and rotated through your kitchen between offers.

Best regards to all :)
