And your point being? Sorry, I don't get what you are implying.

If I had to live off grid, with no washing machine, I am pretty sure it will be back breaking washing clothes by hand. And that goes without saying whether I choose to live off grid, or the power goes out long term for another reason.
thats just what i'm saying, whether off grid with no washing machine or when the power goes off, most people just do not know the meaning of hard work, and before i get any answers i mean, hard manual labour without any modern technology.

Definitely interested in the bike powered. I have seen a few different ways of doing washing but whichever way you choose, theres gonna be lots of sweating :D
