This week is a magical week where all the hard work I did in December gets recognised and I get a bonus :D So I have a cple hundred pound spare, ....sooooooo I will be increasing my normal monthly 'tinned goods' shop from Asda, I will be buying a load of compost and seeds/plants etc to start my herb garden, will be getting some more Isopropyl alcohol for making fuel, getting a load of rechargeable batteries - suggestions for the best kind would be appreciated :D and generally mooching around looking for as many items as I can find before the hole in my pocket gets too big ;)

Prepped my veg plots ready for the spring, bought some tomato and pea seeds (got none left from previous years). Bought extra fuel for one of my many camping stoves, the fuel for this can also be used for the portable heater I use.

Treated myself to the Fenix E10 torch and the Buck Smidgen neck Knife, these are to go with my EDC kit.

Also added more food ect!

Today I'm fixing up the woodstore and adding a security bolt and padlocks to the backyard door. Installing security light for the yard as well.

Well I'm re evaluating all my stash yet again. Happened before when OH found he was diabetic and we had to get rid of half the food we had saved, and now I got gallstones and can't eat fat at all and I have to get rid of a lot of stuff and start again. Again.
And the way I feel there will be no gardening whatever done here this year cos I haven't got the strength to get off the bloody couch.

As I have been wasting away and getting unfit thanks to a serious long run of colds, I am getting myself back to a basic exercise regime. Something that I was gonna do anyway, but I received further motivation from "TheRumpledOne" a youtube prepper.

Nickdutch - I'd like to recommend 'Immunace' tablets. After having pneumonia a year ago, I had a run of bad colds, about one every two weeks. This happened for months, so I tried Immunace, and since starting it (I take it daily, but it takes about a month to get 'into your system') the occasional cold I do get, only lasts about a day. I've really noticed a difference. And no, I don't have shares in them! :)

Have just reconfigured my food storage shelves. Moved them from the hallway down to the bedrooms into the smallest room (was an office/study but more recently has become a dumping ground for clutter).
Sorted food stocks and spent time with my daughter going through uses by dates, how much stuff we need for each meal, how long would the loo roll last etc.
Advertised some toys for sale (need the money!)
