Get a better routine around BOB and EDC. Carry on learning about ethanol and its production methods for heating fuel. Carry on practicing slingshot, work on collecting emergency lighting selections.
Get more sleep.... the people to the right are distracting me and aren't paying much attention, the third one from the left in the second row whose face looks like this is actually laughing at me and the one whose mugshot looks like this plainly doesn't have their mind on the important tasks of the day. One of them ( ) seems to have a thing for halloween masks and I cant work under these conditions . . . . This guy is gonna get eye strain I am telling you . . . .
Once I have had more sleep I will be able to handle them better

I defo want to have a crack at long term food storage, WW posted a link to a great youtube vid on how to do it, so will give the mylar bag/oxygen absorber/food grade bucket method a try once I have enough money.
Re: what preps do you INTEND to do?
I just did 15kg of rice in a Mylar bag and food bucket, dead simple to do and should be good for a long time. I have also done some portions of my jerky in some smaller bags which was a bit more fiddly but once I had done a couple it was easy enough.

Prepping plans for this next 6 months - would be to get a solar panel and battery for the shed so at least some part of the property has some energy in times of crisis ( - we aren't allowed to solar panel our house ) and to install down pipes from our guttering as our property has non front or back relying on the pipes from the neighbours in the terrace, so I cannot make use of a water butt, 'cept on the shed which has a pretty small roof. Also take up archery as I have always fancied learning that and it will be useful in certain survial situations.

Complete my alcohol distillation for a fuel project, then look at deep cycle batteries for the solar so that I can get to off grid status sooner.

Re: what preps do you INTEND to do?
I'm changing jobs next month which involves a change in pay date - I need to rejig my budgeting to take into account this change and the fact that I'll end up with 2 payments in one month but will still have to make them last the same amount of time!
I'm also creating n EDC that fits in a backpack instead of a car boot as I'm trying to walk to work more.
I need to harvest last years potatoes that I still haven't taken out of the ground, and prepare for this years.
Longer term investigate a bike to travel to work (pedal not motor tho taking CBT is a possibility), a vacuum sealer, and raised beds for my small garden. May also want to look at an allotment, but on the other hand my parents have been struggling with their garden, so I may well end up lending a hand.
I've been lazy recently and eaten a lot of ready meals - really need to get back into cooking properly, and increasing how much I grow for myself is a part of that.
Solar is likely to be a project this year, thinking about getting a trial/tester kit I've seen on ebay to try out making my own solar panels. Improving insulation and heating controls will likely be a priority this summer as well.

Similar to lots of the above! Mylar up some food, sort backup solar options, build up a mighty big woodstore, install a water butt (or two) at the back of the house, beef up security more at home and build on last year's allotment successes, get some self defence training, get (and stay) fit.... Blimey! I'd better get cracking!

Re: what preps do you INTEND to do?
my plan (at the moment) is i would like to get 2 maybe 3 72 hr kits ready to go (1 for me and 1 for my partner and a spare just in case) and a car kit sorted out , looked in pound-land on Saturday and there is some really good stuff in there!
on the food front i am steering towards canned food as the shelf life is longer ,just trying recipes out week to week to see how it pans out.
