I am thinking of getting a Berkefeld Gravity Water Filter. What I would like to know is if I used it to filter water from my pond, would it be ok to drink or would I still need to treat it first?
Also, while on the net, I came across page where someone had made their own from the filter candles and a couple of buckets. They used "Black Berkefeld" filters. They seem amazing, though quite expensive and I've not found a place in the UK that sells them. Has anyone used these or know much about them? If the bumph is true they may actually work out cheaper in the long run.
