Hi All,

I'm new to this site but not to the concept of prepping - although my preparations at the moment are just taking shape! I first became concerned about the sustainability of modern society when I learned about 'Peak Oil'. As a geologist myself, I see that Peak Oil is the single largest and immediate threat to the way we live. If you don't know about Peak Oil theory then I highly recommend some research. A good place to start is the documentary 'A Crude Awakening'. Now I'm beginning to feel that Peak Oil and an energy crisis is on a collision course with the effects of Climate Change and Over-Population - A global meltdown is on the horizon...
