Arrowroot powder

Its a thickener. It keeps for a long time. Make it up like you would a gravy powder but keep stirring constantly, but with fruit concentrates, sugars and cinnamon (or anything else to taste) and then you have a sweet dessert topping or a impromptu jam to spread on your bread.

It makes a semi clear jelly like thickness which means that it makes a great thickener for fruit spread.
