Another hello from the West Mids!

Post by code_red »

Hi all,
Just to say a quick hello to everyone.
I've been prepping for around 2 years and have mainly been focussing on my BOB really; I'm always looking for new ideas, things to add or improve hence I've decided to join.

Have only been browsing this forum for around 6 months and had no idea there are so many preppers here in the UK ;)

Look forward to being part of the community!

Best regards,

Hello code_red, welcome. My bob is a work in progress because it's far too heavy at the moment - I'd get to the end of my street and collapse under the weight! What made you start prepping?

Thanks Smileyt.
Mine's an ongoing project really; it' a "Pipergear Bugout Bag", 55L and is filled to the brim. Currently weighs 12 Kilos which I dont think is too bad. I try to keep the weight down as much as I can.
I initially bought a 80L Bergen ex army bag which I've put aside as a backup as I found this to be way to large.
I'm looking to set up a smaller EDC kit to have in the back of the car now as a my next little project.

This was the first time i weighed mine and I honestly thought mine was a lot heavier.
I'll have to make a list at some point; would be good to get some constructive feedback.
