New Gloucestershire prepper

Post by danby825 »

Hi all

I'm new to prepping. I'm based in the Wye valley I have about 6 acres of grazing which I'm currently setting up with water storage and food stashes "all tinned foods at the moment " I have two young horses that im planning on driving in a trap as well as two older horses for riding I have plans to get egg producing chicken as well as meat birds which I plan on having a cockerel running with so they are sustainable also have broody hens so rearing without power is easy. And a dexter cow is on the wish list to be added due to it being small but a good milk producer.I have guns for pest control and deer management which contributes to 25% of my family's meat at present but could be increased if I had time. I have made a start but currently don't have enough food stored or provisions but I have started hope to help and be helped on this site. thanks

Hi.
I wish I had the space for some animals, would make things so much easier for WTSHTF.
Have you any crops, or an area for vegetables?
