Harvest!

Post by jansman »

Me fruit trees are abundant! Picking apples , pears, and my Autumn Raspberrries are bang on. The garden in general is great. So now we are pickin',stackin' and freezing. The climbing beans are drying nicely- some for seed and most for dry use later. Went for a mooch this afto with the dog. Picked some wood blewitts, and knocked down a woodpigeon with the catapult.
The point of this post? Well, the world does not look a good place right now. Here at Chez Jansman there are big changes coming- some not so good. However, this abundant harvest makes life simple and good, and puts things in perspective. We can worry, and whittle about things beyond our control, but a crop, whatever amount, puts you back in control.

That is my Sunday afternoon ramble over. Thankyou.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Robert Frost.

Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.
