Rice storage

I have put this topic up before but it was more torwards the use of mylar bags i was just wondering if you could store rice in glass jars that are air tight locks or screw on lids any advice appreciated thanks preppers.

if its air tight yes but use an oxygen absorber to remove all the air

Wire wool is a good oxygen absorber, plus, you can use it to start a fire with a battery if in dire need.
