crisis cookers

Post by arnieh »

Does anyone own a crisis cooker if so what is your opinion on this piece of kit please good or bad etc, as I am looking into the possibility of buying one though they do seem expensive. Reading the advertising blurb they do appear to be a reasonable investment.

So, basically it's a BBQ?

Save your money and make one out of a Jerrycan and a foot grill:

Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Would you say that the Cobb is as versatile as the Crisis cooker?

Well I'm only going by the pic as I haven't had anything to do with a crisis cooker,
The Cobb can cook well with the Cobb stone? It can cook with a handful of charcoal briquette but it will need topping up before something big is fully cooked.
My wife done a roast chicken in the cobb oven whilst camping at a home education camp ,
They are really popular with the vw van show crowd.
