Re: Bresser Digital Nightvision Scope in Lidl
I've used one of these before, it belonged to someone else but I had a try of it, at night, while camping. Very good for the money in my view.
The only downside that I could see was that, the red light on the front is visible to the human eye from quite a distence out. It's safe to assume that in a defensive scenario, anyone heading towards you will know that they are being watched, which might be a good thing in the sense it's a further warning, or, it might be bad thing in the sense they now know your position, and pretty much, where your head is.

I think the red light is only when in Infra-Red Mode, it is on my one.Reservior wrote:I've used one of these before, it belonged to someone else but I had a try of it, at night, while camping. Very good for the money in my view.

As you have one then I'm confident that you are rightpseudonym wrote:

I only had a go with one so my post is based on very little experience. I would buy one though, if I had the cash floating about with nothing better to do with it.
The do come up at Lidl fairly regularly and since reading this thread I may save some pennies for the next time they come up.
