More Greetings from South Wales!

Post by Czarmie »

Afternoon All

Were a married couple with 3 very young children, living in The South Wales valleys. Were all very new to Prepping but it makes perfect sense to start our own little insurance policy in the event of anything! Especially as we are now parents and have a family to protect. Were learning about homesteading with very minimal space and everything else we can research and learn, hence why we've joined your community!

The dream one day is to build a off the grid community....but so far were stuck in the council estate learning and prepping as we can!

Hope to make some new friends and to learn from you all, if you'll have us!?

Welcome Czarmie,

Make yourself feel at home, the welsh contingent seem to be getting bigger all the time :D :D .

I've dropped you a PM regarding the South Wales Christmas meet, would be good if one or both of you could attend.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Funny how having a young family can make you see things in a different way.

It's great to have dreams, hang on to yours, it's what keeps you going!

hello czsrmie, there seems to be a lot of us newbiees from south wales.

im up near merthyr. its just me my wife and our small child. every time i store a tin of food or buy a book about survival skills i feel that im adding to their security.

we also live on a council estate. so my primary concern is remaining covert and not storing anything in plain site.

Oh its hard isn't it when you live so crammed in next to people, we are looking at trying to grow our own food so sadly cant hide that fact, but looking at getting my husband to build us a panty under the stairs to start storing our supplies.

Oh Merthyr not to far from us, we Live up in The Dulais Valley, not to far from Glyn Neath. We haven't talked to anyone about prepping as yet, when we have mentioned the topic with our family the seem to think were just bonkers. It is fantastic seeing so many like minded people and so close!
