Hello everyone, I am new and I am a teenager. I have recently became interested in prepping for when I am an adult and I would like to become self-sufficient and I would not like to rely on the government. I do understand how fragile the country has become, like supermarkets would be empty within 3 days if oil was stopped being imported into the country et cetera. I don't share this with my family but I would like to have some knowledge anyway. I am not prepping for a 'Doomsday' in 2012, just for long term things. The forum is great. I wish to help people and in turn they help me.

I am creating a guide called 'Survivalism for Dummies' which will hopefully help people. Thanks for reading

Hi - firstly can I say you have to be over 16 to join UKP. Secondly can I say if you write any guides on survivalism you can't quote us without asking first.. and you can pass on what you have learned here - but you must say where you learned it
