Evening all,
Few words to say hello, been prepping in the loosest sense for a few years now (stocks of food, breakdown kit in the car etc) and now feel like getting a bit more organised and have an actual plan in case things go to the wall.
I'm planning for a breakdown in the power supply/logistics system, such as a coordinated attack taking out the power networks or the fuel protests that stopped hauliers getting supplies about. I intend to bug-in for up to a month, allowing time for things to be brought back on-line. This plan is to encompass flooding emergencies, and differs very little except for the contingency of having all the prep stuff upstairs.

We live in a unsustainable world, there must be a balance, poor people/rich people no more, only prepared people will make it!

Re: New Prepper from Cambridgeshire
Hi thanks for the welcome!
After a month, I am anticipating that some sort of order/power/logisitcs supply will be restored to a workable level, much like when we had the fuel protests a while back.
However, if by 2 weeks I can't see any movement to resolve the problems, rationing of the stores will start to stretch them further (I plan to have more than I need for a month anyway), keep things going as far as possible. Water supply is via a water butt so have redundancy there.
I haven't planned much longer than this as I don't believe it will take the powers that be to bring things back online, either through the military being brought in to assist or power restored in rolling blackouts initially at least.
As I say, I haven't really sat down yet to properly plan but this is my 'pencil sketch' scenario to prep for so far! Any advice greatly welcome though lol

Sounds good to me! A solid start if that's what you're preparing for, nice one.
