Im Dave from Milton Keynes i have just woken up to the idea of prepping so yes im a newbie and proud of it lol , However i served in the uk forces for 12 years although a few years ago now.
i have already picked a safe location and have planned several routes to this and in the event it isn't possible to travel by vehicle i can walk there in about 18hrs with my bug out bag with basic survival kit and enough food and water for 72hrs.
anyone who has any thoughts on the above or can give me tips on what would be required for an extended or indefinite stay at the safe location would be well received
