Hello to All,

Thought i would drop a line and introduce myself. I am fairly new to practical prepping, however I have been researching the "concept" for the past 24 months quite feverishly.

Since I am quite new to the UK, I thought id join the forum to receive advice on prepping from a UK perspective and also to exchange beneficial ideas with like minded members.

My first step into the world of prepping has been informing myself about the reality of the global crisis and how it affects normal, everyday people. After informing myself through individual research, I decided that the first step for me would be to try and "protect" my wealth from inflation with precious metals. I am also currently in the process of purchasing food for long-term storage (This is where I have hit a wall).

Being in a unfamiliar country sure makes it hard to find wholesale/bulk food suppliers. Anyone has any advice/suggestions or actual contact info for various wholesale food suppliers or distributors within the UK? (I have browsed through the forum before joining and could not locate what I was looking for)

I have Makro and Costco cards, they're wholesale suppliers for people who have a business.

There are also Cash & Carry wholesalers, you don't need a membership, you can go on Google and find one close to you.
Here is one for example: http://www.imexfoods.co.uk

Hope this help's,

Trish

PS: WELCOME!! :D
