Hi...I'm Ruthie. Currently living in the mountains of Andalucia. But I also have a house in Wensleydale to which I might return depending on ...well, whatever happens.
I was very much into pumping iron in my 20s and returned to it a few months ago and am developing some serious strength again. As we are no longer allowed firearms (I gave up my UK pistol permit many years ago when I got into Buddhism and, of course, none of us can get them now!) I have been developing powerful slingshots and slingbows and practising a lot! I am still vegan and will not change on this unless faced with a survival situation...but if this eventuates then I know my slingbows will take any animal to be found here (lots of wild boar here!).

My husband (ex military) and I are building up some food supplies but in particular are studying survival skills in the mountains and acquiring the necessary gear.

I'd put up a profile pic but all my attempts failed as apparently they are not the right size
