I'll be honest with you all I'm quite new to the idea of prepping and I'm quite ashamed to say that my interest started after watching doomsday preppers.although it was a bit cringe worthy at times I felt that they did have a point when it came to reliance on the state etc.
So I started to get my head round the idea and started to research information an things like food preservation,self reliance and so on,and this is when I stumbled upon you guys
which I'm very pleased about.You seem like a sensible lot which relieves me to no end,no immediate signs of conspiracy theorists running around screaming "the wars a coming" 
.I'll avoid thread revivals as much as possible but just wanted to say I enjoyed reading the posts titled "so are we paranoid" and found myself in agreement with most if not all comments posted.
I think I'm going to enjoy it here and thanks for having set up this very useful community.
