Or you could get a friend to sign up and use that card, split the vouchers/points (if you want).
Best one is someone who doesn't have the cards to sign up & who knows you prep but thinks you're mental for it. Tell them it's a government plan to watch the population, and in exchange for them giving you their card to use, you'll give them a bottle of wine .

All they'll think is "Tom & Barbara have gone off the deep end again, at least I'm getting a bottle of wine for 5 minutes of form filling".

Paper work goes to them, bonuses go to you.

The government already tracks things you buy on card. I enjoy designing things and I do PCB (printed circuit board) fabrication at home, I also enjoy black and white (film) photography. I buy a lot of chemicals for example if you are plating a PCB you use a plating solution, which normally has arsenic or cyanide in it.

I use a number of suppliers to keep the price down and I've had the police come visit a few times based on my buying habits. The companies don't inform the police, but the government has a computer system that monitors buying habits for suspicious activity. I'm sure they could tweak the system to find just about anything they want, but its unlikely for food,

(You are legally allowed to own all this stuff and I even store everything in COSHH cabinets and have CCTV)

Metatron,

I agree everyone can buy what they want and at the moment the government isn't interested.

My point was (bearing in mind our food stocks are limited for profit reasons) if society breaks down and food runs out would the the government track down anyone who had stocks and procure them for distribution?

Considering most preppers in the UK only have at most 2 years of food for 4 people its not a lot in the grand scheme of things. They are more likely to take warehouse's that are up and down the country that re-stock supermarkets and corner shops. If it gets to a point where they need to take your food, the system would have broken down to a point where they will hardly have the resources to carry out such a search.

It is more likely the police will go out on their own and use their powers to randomly search peoples home and take everything of value, I don't think it would be directly controlled by the government or even that organised, more of a street by street search. If everything brakes down I'd fear any large organisation, police, army, churches, I'm sure they will rape and pillage the UK.

It is the companies that inform the police as the police don't have direct access to the companies computer systems. And they certainly don't have access to Tescos or Asdas! Even for straight forward data requests police have to jump through hoops.

Though I could see a rationing system introduced if it get really bad.

I wouldn't have thought the government are interested in your stockpile, but rather your friends, work colleagues, neighbors etc. Sure, in a perfect world we would love to help all of these people, don't get me wrong, but when it comes down to survival they had the chance to do what you have done and stockpile. Keep it to yourself, because these are the people you should be most worried about :)
