(and I'm guessing most of us are to a greater or lesser extent). I popped into Aldi for the weekly shop and picked up 1Kg bags of rice for 40p each and 500Kg bags of Penne Pasta for 29p each, these are in Aldi's essential range. I do pretty much all my food shopping there now, saves me a fortune and I find the quality to be very good in general. You can't really argue at those prices, oh, and it's also a good place to get vitamins etc.

Lidl do the same - 1kg of rice for 40p... I usually just add a bag to the shop every time I go in!
