i'd make you one for half the cost and ship it to you. about an hour with a dremmel

See what you mean. Pricey. A bbq or oven grid on top of four house bricks would do the job too I reckon.

Looks quite fun, but you cold make a wood gas stove for free or a hobo stove for b@gger all, or you could do things using a biscuit tin and a hacksaw..... Ok, maybe not as backpackable, but over $100 cheaper.
