Hex cooker
Hex cooker
Just got one from Millets with 12 lots of fuel. Apparently the military is moving over to something else so I thought I'd get some before its completely out of fashion as a back up to a camp fire or ghillie kettle. Totalled at £8. More than its worth but they have suddenly become hard to get in my area.
Re: Hex cooker
Their good little cookers, if you use the fuel in a more enclosed cooker you can cook two ration packs with just one hexi block, much better than wasting a load if your paying that much
First in, last out.

I've had three mains and 3 desserts cook off one before. Involved lots of balancing and getting fingers burnt but it worked!

YES i walked away mid sentence , you were boring me to death and my survival instincts kick in .
Re: Hex cooker
You also know when it's about to run out which can be hard to judge from gas cookers!

I have a few of these. They are great for emergencies. I prefer my jetboil for every day use, which is understandable.
