Hi There!

Post by Padds »

Howdy folks.

My wife and I live in London have been thinking about building up a small stash of food and water ever since the riots a few years ago, but it was always one of those things we never really got round to doing.

Well, that's changed. We decided one evening that we are going to get our collective arses into gear and get the ball rolling and now we have a short term supply of water and food along with some MOD rations that are going to form the basis of a couple of bug out bags. The next step is to get ourselves some appropriate gear and formulate plans for digging in and bugging out.

Whilst reading up on 'prepping', we realised that a whole lot of this stuff has been thought through, but a lot of it is US centric. We stumbled across this forum which seems to be a little gold mine of relevant prepping info for UK and with a bit of luck there's a few ideas floating around in here that will help us put together a half decent bug out plan that would get out out of London if TSHTF.
