If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal.

That one in the advert looks good, I though the other Chinese one previously mentioned looked a bit too shiny to be used (as you would probably attach it to the outside of a bag) like the cutting edge on that but would you really cut food up with something you use to dig a hole for your toilet?
First in, last out.

I bought a Gelert one a while back, it's scratched up, but the metal it is made with is very strong, no dents at all, even after slamming it into a few rocks! very cheap too

Re: quality folding shovel recomendations?
I don't go big on folding spades or most folding type tools if I'm honest, I keep a full size spade in the van and also a mattock and saws and so on.
However, I do have a folding spade that is made by Acrow. The spade blade has 3 different positions , folded back against the handle , in line with the handle and at 90* to the handle. It is held on with a nut and bolt. The handle is built with an axe blade and a pick point. Unscrew a collar at the end of the handle and it converts to a set of wire cutters. The axe blade also has a notch for opening bottles and a slot that appears to be for pulling nails or something like. The quality seems to be pretty good but it is a heavy beast.I'll unload a piccy if any one is really interested although where you would get one from is anybodies guess.
I can't help but think of the wartime British entrenching tool that was generally considered a pile of junk, look at pictures of troops in battle and most of them have full size spades or picks shoved (uncomfortably it looks) into their webbing.
