RICE RICE BABY

Post by damaralenoire »

Just had to share this...

Went to tesco this morning with £8 of vouchers that i have accumulated over the past 6 months. Thought to myself yay, some bonus food for my prep cupboard. Grabbed six bags of Long Grain Rice 1KG priced up at 60p a bag, 10 tins of potatoes, 100 tealight candles, 2 storage crates. The total shop should have come to £8.40 (So all i would have had to pay is 40p) but had a nice bonus surprise when it turned out the rice was in fact 40p a bag, so for the spare 80p i had to use in vouchers an extra bag of rice and a kitkat

BARGAIN!!!!!

Nice one, that's the sort of thing I do with mine.

I also do the double up deal for storage containers when it's on. :)
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.
