Hello from Dundee:)

Post by DundeePrepper »

Hi all,

I'm Mike, live in the Dundee area - (Area 11 I think..) I'm new to the "serious prepper" scene in that I haven't really seriously thought about a plan for disaster / emergency - however I have always been the kind of person who stocks at least 2 weeks dried food and water in the house and have an emergency kit in house (torches, candles first aid) etc.

Been having a look on YouTube - watch a few videos and read up a little on what people are prepping for - whilst I can envisage possible localised breakdowns in society and ecological disasters etc I don't really feel a need to prepare for a nuclear war/global breakdown.

I'm looking at preparing a bug out and bug in plan where I can support my partner and his son for initially a month then maybe looking at preparing for up to 3 months but more as a hobby rather than a serious - spend all my money on preps and live in the woods attitude. :)

It would be good to hear from anyone in localish area who has the same kind of ideas - share plans etc.

Cheers,

Mike :tinfoil

I'm just up the road from you in Forfar!! I'm pretty much the same as you prepper wise but it's slowly becoming an obsession lol
